The Laboratory of Nonlinear, Systems circuits & Complexity (LaNSCom) belongs to the Department of Applied and Environmental Physics, School of Physics at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and was founded in 2017. The research interests of LaNSCom are part of the broader scientific field of Physics applications and cover a wide range of subjects, such as: - Linear and nonlinear circuits - Study of nonlinear phenomena in circuits, systems and materials - Control and synchronization of coupled chaotic circuits and systems - Chaotic secure communication and cryptographic systems - Study of financial, biological, epidemiological systems using nonlinear theory and Chaos - Robotic systems - Neural networks - Complex systems - Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning. LaNSCom is staffed by a diverse team consisting of university professors, senior researchers, post-doctoral fellows and PhD candidates with specialties ranging from analog electronics, circuit design, theoretical statistical mechanics, solid state physics, materials science, econophysics, applied mathematics, non-linear analysis, mathematical modeling & numerical simulation. LaNSCom is also equipped with state-of-the-art instruments, providing unique research opportunities.
